The ONE Senior Center offers programs and services for active seniors who are interested in living life to the fullest, learning skills needed to cope with life's changes, staying involved with the world and socializing with other seniors in the community.

Are you looking for an interesting recreational activity?  The ONE Senior Center has a variety of classes and activities such as aerobics, yoga, folk dance, ballroom dance, Tai Chi, arts & crafts, and theatre arts.  We offer many health screenings, including podiatry, blood pressure, auditory and visual acuity, to name a few.  And what's a sound body without a sound mind? Participate in a wide variety of "rap" support groups or schedule private individual or family counseling.  In addition, we offer stimulating educational classes and can help you with a variety of resources and referrals, provided by patient, caring staff and trained volunteers. Our facility,Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is located in a large, bright air-conditioned building at 18255 Victory Blvd., Reseda- in the center of the San Fernando Valley. It is easily accessible by bus, and is within a few miles of the 101 Freeway. 


Eligibility

Seniors 60 years and older.

Costs: 

Most services are free. Some health screenings and psychological counseling have minimal fees. A portion of the funding for these programs comes from the City of Los Angeles Department of Aging.

The ONE Senior Center works together with the following organizations in providing services to Seniors in the Community: Adult Protective Services, American Red Cross, the Arthritis Foundation, Bet Tzedek Legal Services, Braille Institute, Drew King University Medical Center, Health Fair Expo, Reseda Adult School, Pierce College Encore Program, San Fernando Valley Bar Association and Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
